VPS Backups (Non-US Data Center)

Last Updated -

For VPS customers that are using a non-US data center the backups will remain in your specific data center.

The backups are created on temporary space on the local VPS server (if its multiple servers, on the primary) and uploaded to an S3 bucket located in the same Amazon datacenter as your server.

Files are compressed in a standard tar.gz and databases are a gzipped mysqldump.
