External Migration Pricing
The Pagely team offers three WordPress white-glove site migrations free with purchase of any of our dedicated VPS plans. This involves our engineering experts taking a manual approach to transferring your site(s) over via SSH to ensure proper handling of your data without risk of error less invasive options can involve through a plugin, for example.
Any additional websites you would like us to migrate beyond the two allotted will cost a one-time fee of $100/each. Special pricing is available if you have many sites to transfer — please contact sales for more information.
Prefer to handle things yourself? See the various ways customers can transfer their WordPress sites to Pagely covered in our Suggested Migration Methods article.
After submitting your migration request from inside your Pagely Atomic dashboard, we will adjust your bill if necessary to reflect any site migrations beyond the first free two — this makes things as smooth as possible during your onboarding experience.
Internal Migration Pricing
There are no charges applied for internal migrations.
Whether you need to shuffle WordPress applications between different server accounts or decide you need to update to a new AWS datacenter, these migrations between Pagely VPS instances are free. Our automated systems handle these migration transfers, carefully supervised by our WordPress engineering experts to ensure proper data integrity during the transition.
Note: Plan upgrades — either from a standard to a higher capacity plan, or from a single node configuration to a High Availability (HA) configuration — do not involve a migration. This is because we either simply resize your existing Amazon EC2 server — for the single-node setups — or, for the single-node-to-HA setups, we are able to add a second node, sync your content over, and carry on serving your site from there, all transparently to the end user.
